Branson Country Spring
April 1 - May 31
Branson Country Spring is a great time for your group to visit Branson. The flowers
are in bloom and the weather is perfect with average highs in early April in the mid 60's and early May in the
mid 70's. A Branson Area Receptive Association member can help you with all of the arrangements.
Branson Fest is a tradition at the Welk Resort Complex to kick off the
season with booth's and variety shows featuring lots of local talent.
Spring of 2006 brought new shows and attractions to Branson.
Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theatre opened with several new acts
including Bill Medley (of the Righteous Brothers) with Paul Revere and the Ra iders Show, The Comets Show,
Cruisin' 57 Variety Show, Original Stars of the American Bandstand Show featuring Fabian, Bobby Vee, Brian
Hyland, The Chiffons and
Chris Montez. Also included in the new complex is Dick Clark's American Bandstand Restaurant and the Patch
Museum.
After several delays the new Titanic Museum opened in early April with Regis
Philbin christening the ship.
A musical comedy called the Adventures of a Performing Family starring the
Warnocks with music of the 40's is new at the Hughes Brothers Theatre.
You won't want to miss the award winning musical, The Promise, that has just
returned to Branson.
Several other new shows and attractions will join our established favorites to give
you lots to choose from.
